Another great episode. Good one to share with anyone just getting into bitcoin. I side with Rajat on the trading part. Imo it's a complete waste of time and you will just lose your shirt after enough trades.

Ideas, ideas, ideas. I'll have a go at making a curry with a squash then. My partner has chimed in and said I can roast the whole thing with skin on, then take the skin off..

Have you read the Wool series? It's perfect just 3 books each with an ending. It's also on apple TV as the Silo series.

yeah, talking about it is one thing, but when you do it, you get results and you can say "doing this produced this result".

switching my diet to primarily dairy and meat has fixed my developing type 2 diabetes, i have lost weight down to my healthy ~70kg from nearly 85, i don't get cramps anymore, my muscles are stronger, my hands are more steady, and i'm even starting to recover from vision loss caused by a neuromuscular problem related to the cramps, causing my eyes to be unable to fully converge on a focal point, the problem started most clearly as a convergence error.

now, to be clear, i think that while sugary energy drinks and seed oil fried potato/corn snacks had a role in it, it was Monster Zero drinks that actually caused the kidney damage that started this all off.

i may not have developed this issue without those toxic sweet chemicals. but i had to cut the carbs right back, and the final thing that has got things back on track is i basically hardly ever drink alcohol anymore. ok, sure, everyone knows that alcohol destroys your GI tract but the addiction to high carb levels and using alcohol as a source of energy both point also back towards the function of pancreas, spleen and kidneys being damaged, by the oxidation caused by the carbohydrates.

this is actually science. you can replicate this in simple chemical reactions to illustrate that the oxygen bonded into sugars when broken into units as our body does to make glycogen, results in an increased level of ionized oxygen in the body and that combines with heavy metals and other chemical pollutants to cause DNA damage, tissue damage and problems with organs healing damage.

carnivore is an elimination diet. but high carb, starch rich sugar rich diets are not possible without industrial processing, humans have never been exposed to this much carbohydrates in the history of our species.

the fact that most ethnic groups who have been isolated from the large scale starch production agriculture of imperial powers in the rest of the world (eg, aboriginals, pacific islanders, some parts of africa) and no coincidence that in those populations there is high levels of alcohol consumption because alcohol actualy increases insulin sensitivity, and delivers about 20% of the energy content of the ethanol as available fuel for the brain.

so, yeah, while there might be clowns deceiving people with idiotic shit to pay their bills, there is real science in this area, that most people don't really understand. which is why they are all sick. and those of us who are bothered by this, are doing our own research, and experimenting on ourselves, because the establishment of medicine is a cabal of poisoners.

I eat carnivore for two weeks and it's the best I ever felt. I'm going to eat low carb/ Mediterranean next and compare how I feel. The problem is I struggle to maintain consistency, any tips? I will also have some vegetarian meals to compare.

Mine fell apart way to quick to be worth the money. Still wearing them, they are game changing. I just wish they held together a bit better.

Didn't millions of years of evolution create our brains and thousands of ancestors. The energy used to train AI is speed running that. Still think AI is hyped up however.

Bizarrely YouTube has a section of flash games or they are HTML or Java. They are really just ported mobile games but with no ads.

Get a spray with acaricides and spray on your boots and trousers, kills ticks on contact.

I don't know how it is with that disease and tick but over here in Scotland deer ticks with Lyme disease infect you after feeding for a day. Lower chance the earlier you remove them and take antibiotics. Plus it's a fairly low 1% chance.

I'm very trusting too but I've learnt it has limits and shouldn't be given out freely. It's unfortunate because I might meet someone that needs help but have boundaries raised already.

Nice, his book is a great read.

I'm kinda surprised nostr does not have a bigger anti vax community.

There are more hardcore anti vaxxers at the local farmers market than I've met on here.

It's an argument I enjoy having.

Because I'm against the forced vaccinations, and I somewhat understand the science, at least to enough degree to have a genuine argument.

I don't get the flu shot and never had the Covid shots, but I keep most of my vaccinations up to date.

I read the pamphlets, then do further reading online.

Because to me it's potential risk of infection vs potential risk of vaccine injury vs potential protection from the vaccine.

You look up the side effects of the vaccine, look up the side effects of the disease, look up the effectiveness of vaccine.

And weigh it up for yourself.

And obviously, healthy lifestyle is important.

Even if the vaccines were a lot better than they are, if you aren't eating right getting enough exercise sunlight and sleep. the vaccines won't work.

People with seriously compromised immune systems usually don't get vaxxed because it's pointless, their immune system can't adapt.

I'm very middle grounded on this subject.

The pro vax crowd (I mean pro enough to have a strong opinion) are usually the more dogmatic side in this argument I find.

Just about every anti vax person I know is that way because of personal experience, because of gaslighting from doctors and nurses after someone had a vaccine injury.

Everyone I've met on the other side of the argument has an "annoying antivax" friend or family member that never shuts up about it.

Weighing up the risks, although we'd never have the exact risks for each category, is exactly how it should be done. Do you know how few people did any of that? Most people mindless went a long with whatever their main source of programming was.
