Holotropic Philosophy ๐’‚ผ๐’„„ nostr only

Yeah super accurate for the most part.

I was thinking about making a meme with two dogs barking through a fence (Bitcoin Twitter) and then the fence opens and they get quiet (bitcoiners in person)

I've been around. Less conferences lately and more meetups/Bitcoin hubs.

I went to Chiang Mai and Helsinki last month. Both super solid groups. Hope all's well in your world ๐Ÿค™

In general I applaud the kid for living by his Christian values, but I watched that clip and it felt a little strange for some reason.

He was bragging, which felt forced... but he's a young guy. He still has many things to discover in life.

It's hard to say, but I do repost a fair amount. If you scroll my feed and look for the reposts or look at my replies you'll find some good accounts. I like nostr:nprofile1qqsy67zzq5tc9cxnl6crf52s4hptdwhyaca5j7r8jwll535tdadedvcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wgknqvfw09skk6tgdahxuefwvdhk6tczdaskd for news

I got it to work now. Second time I noticed a lag/error with primal lightning today.

I got a message saying your lightning address wasn't set up when I tried to zap ๐Ÿค”

Yeah his entire platform is based upon saying things that other people got cancelled for and getting away with it.

If he ran out of controversial things to say or people weren't so easy to trigger very few people would listen to him.

That's an interesting scenario. There is a middle way there where you can engage in conversation and not directly disagree with the guy.

I don't remember where I learned about it, but the Japanese have a very clever and subtle way of challenging people's assumptions that's more inquisitive than confrontational. Thinking that way has helped me a lot with orange pilling.

One of the reasons I'm on nostr so much is that it's basically the only thing on my phone that generates content regularly.

I have a browser and email of course, but aside from chats and texts nostr is basically all I've got.

I welcomed it when I was living there. The city isn't in the best shape now, but I think it'll catch a second wind in five or ten years. It still has potential.

Nah it's alive and well. The commons is about to transition to a new location which I think will be good. Also Rob from Bitcoin Park is taking over to call it Bitcoin Park Austin. I'm not sure if plenlab will be rolled in or not. I imagine that will be very successful regardless.

There's also a lesser known, but very cool, cypherpunk hacker space in town called Lab484. It's a new project, but dedicated to a full open source stack including creating a new way to gain internet access without ISPs. I will be interested to see how they do over the next few years.

I spent a month outside the country and probably saw less than five noticably obese people.

I've been back in the US for an hour and I couldn't keep count if I tried.

I still don't know how to spell farinheight

The document in the link looks legit to me
