It is. The good thing is that it doesn’t last forever. I got it and I couldn’t eat or even smell grilling meat for almost two years. Then I’ve gotten my revenge!! I like meat 🥩!!

12 years ago I've got biten by Bedbugs and acquired this allergic reaction to meat, high uric acid and other stuff.
It took around 6 months to go away but it did. Many other insects cause this.
Get a spray with acaricides and spray on your boots and trousers, kills ticks on contact.
I don't know how it is with that disease and tick but over here in Scotland deer ticks with Lyme disease infect you after feeding for a day. Lower chance the earlier you remove them and take antibiotics. Plus it's a fairly low 1% chance.

Did she take Ivermectin? I think there's a lot of "inexplicable" things that people claim aren't caused by parasites but can't back it up. Parasites are invisible to the immune system, cross-species, they can basically re-write the hosts epigenetics, they explain syptoms, and they actually exit and can be tested.
