⚡️🇬🇧 NEW - Keir Starmer: ”Digital ID has the potential to transform our day-to-day lives.”

Now that I've seen Keir Starmer in casual attire, strolling through a public setting, talking to ordinary people, I'm convinced!
I hear there are certain types of meat you can still tolerate after getting bitten by this thing, like camel meat. Just an fyi.
And yes, I agree. This is happening by design.
So just keeping score here. In the month of December 2025:
1. All Square users will be able to start accept Bitcoin for payment.
2. JP Morgan Chase will start allowing Bitcoin to be used as collateral for lending.
3. Rumble will enable Bitcoin tipping for 51 million active monthly users.
Merry Christmas?!

Huge. It feels like we're approaching a tipping point.
As Christ said, He came to divide not to unify.
Bitcoin does the same. It seperates the wheat from the chaff.
GM Nostr!
The real rebellion is against the world, not Christ.
If you think you're edgy because you're a slave to the passions, think again. You've taken the easy route. You've done literally what almost everyone else throughout history has done. You've signed a contract with the devil.
Admittedly, this contract is pretty alluring at first. No upfront payments. The bill comes due later. Like a credit card with a 0% APR introductory period.
Things can feel pretty sweet during that time. Heavenly even. All fun, no consequences!
But it's an illusion. A total scam. A trap that the devil's been laying since the beginning of time.
When you least expect it, 25% APR kicks in and you're in a debt trap.
The only way to pay the debt down?
Repent.

Just to clarify, it wasn't you that I bought it from. It was nostr:npub1lrjgpa9m2dl6esdah5pq7m005ymwh4glq4aet76q2zlz2f83esfsa2zvrj. They never responded to my email. But it's okay, I fixed it. It was indeed a faulty PSU. I bought an Alitove 12v PSU to replace it and everything's been fine since then. No more errors. The miner's even stopped overheating.
For sure. The stock PSUs nostr:npub1lrjgpa9m2dl6esdah5pq7m005ymwh4glq4aet76q2zlz2f83esfsa2zvrj send out are total trash. I bought an Alitove 12v PSU to replace it and everything's been fine since then. No more errors. The miner's even stopped overheating.
Don't get ahead of yourself, sir. We still haven't paid for the boat trips back to Africa.

To those who create a life with no burden, be warned: your suffering will become unbearable.

When I'm alone, washing the dishes, in silence, looking out the window at the light dancing across the trees, I feel God draw near.
GM Nostr. May God reveal Himself to you today!

Nostr recalibrates your expectations from social media. No one needs tens of thousands of interactions a post. It's asinine. A number for a number's sake. Who can keep track of that many comments? That many people? Reveling in such large numbers is vainglory.
Nostr, on the other hand, allows for a small circle of real friendships to start forming. People you recognize. People you want to hear from. And it encourages you to share your real self, your real thoughts, with no fear of algorithmic backlash.
This is how we were designed to interact.

I've watched a few videos on it, and you're right, PSA is absurd. In fact, I think it's one of the main things that turns people away from Christianity. It's an oversimplification of a theologically complex issue.
What do you find most absurd about it? How it breaks the Trinity?
Hot take: peeing in the pool is okay (as long as you're healthy, drug-free, and have high-quality, clear urine).

Not super short but please encourage them to give it a go. This video tipped my Boomer mother over the edge.
God isn't the maniacal father who wants to give you eternal spankings; He's the disappointed Father who wants to lead you back home.

So you don't see it as clashing with Jesus' teaching from Matthew 6:3?
Made no difference in what sense?
And may I ask how you accept donations now?
This seems like a perfect use case for Bitcoin and Lightning.
Passing a collection plate around during liturgy seems extremely distasteful to me.
I understand that we're called to tithe and I'm keen to do so. However, making a public display of it seems gross and it subtly shames people who can't currently afford to tithe.
I feel like all tithing should be done anonymously.
"But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth."
Matthew 6:3 seems to support this position.
Am I missing something here?

Stacking a year's worth of tp at a time keeps you ahead of the inflation curve.
Your wife's on here? Link?
I struggle to imagine you as a silly billy.
UK authorities say "hateful retweets" can be a criminaI offense.

Why do they choose the most unthreatening people to deliver these messages? 🤣 GFY faggot.
Hard to say. Pretty much love 'em all. But standouts would be "Epoch 5", "ATH", and "100k On the Way Remix". My one-year-old son gets hyped whenever I put you on 😆
Nature pics > vlogs. Thank you.
Yeah, the warnings from the ISP never amount to anything over here. They just threaten you endlessly and never act. But still, I'd rather they didn't know what I was up to, out of principal more than anything.
The #BTClock store at www.btclock.store will be closed the whole month of September. If you want to order something and get it delivered fast, make sure to order before August 30th! Orders made in September will be shipped starting from October 1st.

Have you been sued yet?
I see everything you mentioned, in a roundabout sort of way, as positive news. Every time they ramp things up, they show their hand more and wake more people up. And soon, there will come a tipping point.
Been chipping away at an old friend for a few years now (I don't particularly like her anymore and our friendship is running on inertia) and thought I was finally making some progress.
She's a bit of a virtue signaler. Likes to larp as a humanitarian. So that's a good inroad with her. The other day she was complaining about the housing crisis and I suggested that Bitcoin could fix that (house hoarders reallocating their wealth into Bitcoin thus freeing up real estate and driving down prices). And, to my surprise, that seemed to vaguely land with her.
She doesn't sit with insights for long, though. She likes to pivot from one thing to the next in rapid succession. So she started on about other societal problems: bad health, depression, suicide, etc. Bitcoin surely couldn't fix any of that, as far as she was concerned.
I tried to stay neutral and avoid condescension. I asked her if she'd ever considered that the broken money was actually the thing breaking everything else. That perhaps with sound money we could have sound health, sound minds, and so on. Joe Bryan's video "What's the Problem?" highlights this point nicely, so I sent her that. And again, to my surprise, that seemed to vaguely land with her.
It felt like momentum was building after years of stonewalling.
But she kept on. Next she pivoted to how dangerous and irresponsible it was for me to go all in on something that relied exclusively on "such a new technology like the Internet." Again, I tried to keep a level head. I asked her if she'd heard of some of the cool Bitcoin projects involving satellites and radios and text messages and bluetooth. I sent her Calle's post about Bitchat/Bluetooth transfers. And again, to my surprise, that seemed to vaguely land with her.
Then...days of silence.
What was she thinking, I wondered? Surely the penny was finally dropping? I'd had an answer to everything she threw at me.
And then...today...she broke the silence with a text:
"What are your thoughts on XRP?"
My heart sank.
What do I do from here, friends? A part of me wants to respond snarkily. Another part of me wants to respond plainly with the facts. And yet another part of me wants to give up entirely. What would you do?
Be careful with the sort of tape you use if you ever plan on using the camera again. Certain types of tape will wreck the lens. I use the "blocked" stickers.
Bored already.
PMs stood for private messages if I remember correctly? But then the standard term became DMs: direct messages. It seems that in many ways, for many years now, we've been subtly primed to accept the stripping of our privacy.
