Summer holidays. ☀️ We’re at the supermarket and they are glued to the ice cream freezer, already fighting over which flavor to pick. Meanwhile, I’m staring at the prices… and nearly faint. 😳

I say:

👉 “You know how last summer these ice creams cost less? That’s inflation. Prices keep going up, but your euros stay the same.”

They give me a blank stare. 🤨 So I try again:

👉 “Imagine if your ice cream kept shrinking every year, but you still paid the same. That’s what happens to money. With Bitcoin, it doesn’t shrink. 1 Bitcoin is always 1 Bitcoin.”

My daughter (holding his cone): “So… Bitcoin is like an ice cream that never melts?” 🍦

Me: “Exactly! The rarest ice cream in the world.”

Everyone laughs... We left with ice creams in hand… and one more orange seed planted. 🍊💊♾️👩‍👧‍👦 🧡

Episode 1

July 21. My birthday. 🎉

While the family worried about cake, candles, and whether there was enough sparkling wine… I could only think of one thing:

"Today I'm going to start giving the Orange Pill to my family!"

So there I was, with the family gathered, all distracted by the chocolate cake. I took the moment to plant the first seed:

👉 “Did you know that 21 isn’t just my birthday? The number 21 is special in Bitcoin. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins. No more. No less.”

Confused look #1: my daughter. 🤨

Confused look #2: my sister. 🤔

The “here comes Marta with her theories” look: my boyfriend. 🙄

But I didn’t give up. I continued with a teaching tone:

👉 “Imagine if everyone in this room had to share just 21 chocolates… no one could magically create more.

That’s Bitcoin. Money that no one can print.”

At that moment, I finally got the first positive reaction:

✨ My daughter said: “So Bitcoin is like rare chocolate?”

And I replied: “Exactly!”

Mission accomplished: on my birthday, I planted the first orange seed.

The cake was gone… but curiosity remained… 🍊 💊 ♾️ 🫰
