I have a pretty great memory of school. I went in Decroly who is a contemporain of Freinet, Montessori maybe also Alexander Neill. I really enjoyed it! But... times have changed and the school grow up too much. The name is still there but the philosophy isn't so much anymore I think. And also.... I would be so sad to be far from my kids 8 hours / day 5 days a week !

Hello Nostr's Community !

In this post, I am going to briefly introduce myself. I hope it will help me to find / attract my Tribe on this platform !

First time here and still trying to figure out how this platform works, which interface to use, who to follow and what to post.

I have been told about Nostr few months ago, but I felt it was too complicate, too technical for me at this point of my life, where my brain-mum took over my normal brain. Hopefully this morning, the friend who told me about Nostr sent me the video of @maxdemarco that show step by step how to register here.

So, here I am.

But why am I here ?

Earning satoshi freely could be the answer. But that's really not the point. I am a great partisan of getting value if you bring value.

I am here because I was looking for a (new) safe place to start to post on social media about rediscovering me, myself and I after becoming a mum. And, at the same time, get back on track with decentralisation, bitcoin, and this world that I have left behind almost 5 years ago when I had my first child.

So, for the short bio, I am Roxane, 36 years old, from the french 's speaking community of Belgium, but citizen of the world, happily tired mother of a little Satoshi and a little Zelda and married to Olivier, my first love.

In my previous life, I loved to blog, post, share my tought, my knowledge, inspire (french's) people about traveling the world, financial independence, minimalism, slow living and of course, about bitcoin (and Dash !).

At the moment, I've lost my way with parenthood. And I'm looking for a way to find myself again. I know how powerful it can be to use a blog or to use social networks to share our story and find a community that understands it, or that can support or inspire you.

I would like to talk more about homeschooling, gentle parenting, education, nutrition, soul healing, ... and how to find a balance in parenthood. So, if this platform allows it, I am going to share my journey toward it.

I still don't know how I could use this platform for that. If there is a place, interface, where I can podcast or I can post video for example ? Or if it exist a kind of "blog" interface where I can write a post well organized and full of pictures. And how to find my community, my tribe ? Should I use hastag ? Is there any Discord groups to help with the first steps or to gather communities ?

I hope that I am going to discover and learn about it soon. If you have any advice, please share it! I am starting from zero.

As you... I am a mum, homebirth, homeschooling and traveling the world :) We were in Phu Quoc few years ago, when kids were not born yet. I didn't know there is a worldschool hub in that small island...

Every january since 3 years, I also write that I wanted to start from zero... But things were keeping me back. I have been away from social media for almost five years now. I still haven't figured out how Nostr works but I can't wait to discover it more !
