From Finland, slowly becoming a bitcoin maxi with all the scams going around. I love DnD, tanks, video games and spiced rum.

Lmao πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I just love free speech. Even when it's sometimes not what I agree with

Same. Nostr and instagram are my only social medias now. Nosrt 90% more than IG.

I've seen a lot of people speak about data security and privacy. Sure a lot of those people also like bitcoin... πŸ˜…

I kinda agree, tho religion often has some good trades aswell: community and charity to name a couple. I'm not part of any religious group myself, I separated myself from the church few years back... But I really like how the church near me funds and provides a place for girl scouts.

But yeah, there was a reason why I abandoned the church for myself. It just didn't match my idea of spiritualism or self growth.

I went to #visavuori museum with my wife today. Great way to spend a rainy day.

I personally believe bitcoin is too big to be stopped and governments know this. It would make more sense to try and take advantage of it. So I am waiting to see some sort of adoption of btc, perhaps as an option for store of value in banks.

I've noticed that I feel quite tired of explaining myself to people who don't believe in bitcoin. I'm also tired of explaining bitcoin.

There are essentially two kinds of people: those who are enablers, who wish you succeed and who cheer you on... And there are the doubters, who want to see you fail and will say anything to stop you from trying.

Most people I meet irl are doubters. They don't think I should have bought a house, they don't think I should buy bitcoin. They want to see me fail and become a regular loser, who never got anything done.

I try to not care about such people, but sometimes it's quite mentally taxing.

I'm sorry you had that experience. My first expectation was to run into bullies/extremists who would make me want to install this thing. So far I have not experienced that tho. But I guess I need to be ready for it.

I speak a little swedish. It's our second language but my biases in school prevented me from actually learning it properly.

Finland is a bit weird country in the sence that we have more land than UK combined, yet we only have 5 million people. The language is the same: weird. We have other languages that are in the same language family (such as estonia) but we dont really understand each other. 😁
