From Finland, slowly becoming a bitcoin maxi with all the scams going around. I love DnD, tanks, video games and spiced rum.

It's weird how I thought I would miss facebook or twitter but I dont. My main reasoning was that I would miss out on things my friends are doing, but turns out I can just talk to them and ask them how they are doing ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ it feels like 90s again... Except I still have an outlet on nostr (where my friends are not) to write things if I want to.

I'm slowly following more and more people here, everyone seems really friendly so far. I totally don't miss the old toxic social media. ๐Ÿ˜

I've never seen anyone wearing one as casual wear, but if they did I'd think it would be kinda cool and unique. (This coming from a guy with orange mohawk)

Correct. Time in market is more important than timing the market for me. Also I don't believe in forever hodling, at least not yet. Fiat is still a significant factor in any investment. I never plan on selling all of my btc tho.

All in crypto strategy really requires some calculating tho... For example I had to sell assets for fiat when I got the down payment for my house. But it was fine, I just chose coins that had made profit and which I thought were essentially shit coins (sold most of my BNB for example).

Around 10% are in cardano

The rest 10% are in various other coins such as polygon, doge, etc. I keep trading these they go up or down. I only own couple of stocks and am just buying my first house, so all my funds are essentially in crypto. Decided to go all in at the last bitcoin bottom and I plan to keep going until my neighbour starts talking about buying bitcoin ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ then I will probably start selling 10% every week until I have 25% left. No idea if that is a good strategy or not, but my end game is to buy even more btc at the next big drop after that.

I dont know what it should be, but I personally moved around 80% of my funds into bitcoin. The rest are in various other coins. Also didn't sell any property for bitcoin, don't wanna upset my family ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I split mine into three pieces. Two pieces make a complete phrase. All three are locked up in separate locations with relatively high security.

I also camouflaged the phrases to not look like seed phrases, so if anyone finds one they most likely won't know what it is.

Oh, I see. I should probably try a non-custodial wallet too just to see what it is like (I assume wallet of satoshi is a custodial one since I didn't have to set up anything for it and things still work here).

This is all so new for me ๐Ÿ˜ but I love getting to know my way around this stuff. Thanks!

Okay, so with this app I've finally gotten my first experience with #lightning network.

One thing I kinda don't understand tho, so if someone could explain to me I would appereciate it:

When I have btc on lightning wallet, it's not on the btc blockchain, right? So is lightning network a layer 2, as in it's own blockchain or how does it work? Where is the money stored? ๐Ÿค”

These are things I haven't gotten around to study yet, but now I just feel like I have a huge hole in my mind and I really should find a way to understand this.

There is a moomin museum in the city I live in, Tampere. Highly recommend if you ever get to visit Finland, has a lot of the original stuff there including Toove's drawings and models of moomin house etc. I just visited there couple weeks ago with my mexican friend ๐Ÿ˜

Today I am gonna go see the Mission Impossible. ๐ŸคŸ I just love those movies!

#factorio is such a dangerous game. Just one quick game and boom! You just lost the whole evening ๐Ÿ˜
