wrong. many educated people make a lot of money, in fact most educated people do. money is not important. values are more important: freedom, honesty, authenticity just to name a few.

dropping out of school is nothing to be proud of. it is also nothing i would hold against anyone. it is just an observation. many of those half educated drop-outs behave like psychopaths and are serial liars. elon and kill bill just to name two.

Ohh god he even mentioned client side algos which should have the ability to be turned off. Which is probably going to be true for discovery anyways. I think it’s a classic case of over-scrutinising.

That said, someone will one day write an algo for a client on nostr.

Hopefully it’s open, or if not, it allows one to turn it on or off or choose different algos.

I think the option of other revenue models enables better algos that are actually useful and not driven by advertising incentives. That to me is the key downfall of current social media algos.

The algos on nostr are coming, and that’s ok. Feels like the developer community here has set the tone for what’s expected of them and that will drive to much more meaningful outcomes.
