Bangalore must be one of the few places in the world where parks have a “No Photography Allowed” notice. Most of these parks are closed to the public for most of the day anyway! Goes miles in telling us just how much the civic authorities have lost the plot. But what will we do about it? https://nostrcheck.me/media/2e052d83a39204d80f19f441751b88076b7672cc48ff2005b85ae06523843424/20e58a5d540c602a903e2a2f6d856f06ec6be05f7e0f0b04f8916b2f491d0c0e.webp

For years, I conducted a two-day in-room workshop introducing people to the Art of Magic. Sharing over 20 magic tricks, it focused on the performance of the craft, enabling attendees to elevate mere “tricks” to an experience of real magic. This is exactly what makes my book “Smart Course in Magic”. https://nostrcheck.me/media/2e052d83a39204d80f19f441751b88076b7672cc48ff2005b85ae06523843424/9eda182e33989b176d4b0908fa53aadc11c9ba18c7e9bd979d35aaa3d330730b.webp https://nostrcheck.me/media/2e052d83a39204d80f19f441751b88076b7672cc48ff2005b85ae06523843424/8e64ddf467ae27778f6883ba3621854f04b7d80b51802631f014a55418d2fbcb.webp

Saw this poster on the wall of a small cafe in Bangalore. For the life of me, I can’t understand what it is trying to say. And every time I look at it (which is at least once a day, given that we regularly go to this place for tea), my ever-reading brain has another go at it and promptly goes KAPUT! https://nostrcheck.me/media/2e052d83a39204d80f19f441751b88076b7672cc48ff2005b85ae06523843424/5e836e9f3f7cf6658904927b4163c3a4624a514f4bcc2996e8a4624f3ae98a34.webp

Namaste, @Nostr. Greetings from India. I thought it’s as good a time to have a go here, even as I straggle around in a post-Twitter world trying to find my bearings and find connect. Clearly we are a long way from the days of a McLuhanian “medium is the message”.
