Bitcoin is not risky. Putting your money in an asset that a government can cancel, lose, debased, or refuse to insure (even though insuring is also debasing) is the RISK.

If you are risk-adverse, place your value in a place where it won't simply disappear. The time chain is the only objective form of savings, exchange and unit of account EVER!
