When to stay and when to exit

Bitcoin is my vision of the world. Not replacing the currency, but replacing the bullshit

My waiter had a bitcoin tat on his neck. That is an auto 100% tip since he accepted it in bitcoin

I feel overwhelmed but hungry to learn at the same time. It’s not easy sitting down to understand something completely new, but I know how important it is - it’s just something I feel. I’m not trying to frustrate anyone who’s ahead of me, especially developers and others in this space who seem to have it all figured out. I know I come off ignorant sometimes. I’m genuinely trying to learn, even if it takes me longer than I’d like to absorb these concepts.

What’s tough is seeing people talk down to those of us who are still figuring it out. But for the ones who’ve taken the time to help me or even just been patient - thank you. It means a lot.

I’ve picked up a lot already, and I’m trying to put it into action. I’ve got my own node running now, downloaded Bitcoin Core, and have the blockchain accessible so I can have at least some privacy in my transactions. Even messing around with my own miner. That’s a big step for me, and it feels good. There’s still so much I don’t know.

I want to learn how to run a private relay, but it’s hard to figure out right now. I’m in this weird place - between houses and not making much money - so my options feel limited. But I’m trying to do what I can.

Ultimately, I’m just a photographer, musician, and Bitcoin pleb trying to get it right. I’m grateful for the community here and for the people who push me to keep learning, even when it’s uncomfortable. I just wanted to get this out there - thanks for listening.

Also, I do have some more photography prints that I’ll share later if anyone is interested. Trying to lighten the load šŸ¤˜šŸ¼

Forever just a pleb is the way

Don’t know if lights are flickering or blinking slow

Haven’t heard Lupe fiasco in a while. What a throwback

We will see! Part of me thinks it’s just going to absolute crush us one day. Till then all we can do is leverage it in whatever way we can

I’m still an AI skeptic on a lot of fronts, but I use it all the time to help with programming

Feels good to go for a run. Too much time at a computer

I had the chance to talk with Alex nostr:npub139nl9yxvwayl60fr97m3zrq9md6x5v0uup344mkyuyg6mzlusyxs4zkwf4 all about Bitcoin & crypto exchanges (what happens BTS), Proof of Reserves, your ability to earn interest in Bitcoin on your fiat balances at River (just launched!) and why Alex is bullish on Bitcoin becoming the global reserve asset.

Thank you nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z for referring me!

This was a really good interview. The spread is one of the most non transparent, least understood aspects of buying Bitcoin. It appreciate you touching on it and think it could be helpful to go even deeper in the future. Spread + fees, with different tiers and changes depending on whether recurring buy or single buy make it really difficult to compare across services.
