I like to keep an open mind and always want to explore what’s out there. Have never heard of eCash but I’m intrigued. Let me ask this…
If trust is the biggest concern with eCash, wouldn’t Zcash potentially be more appealing given the longer history and strong privacy tech that Zcash is known for?

If you are going to build a universal feed it’s all for nothing if it doesn’t have a relay toggle/filter. I think most users have a combination of paid and public relays on their profiles.

Surprising, yes, to hear your opinions on that. I used to use Tweetbot on iOS and the local caching was always excellent.
I also have a ton of experience deploying LMDB and know how good it possibly could be.

If you have moderate experience with web hosting, you can look at this spec which defines how to verify on your own domain.
Use a third party service if you don’t own a domain. NostrPlebs seems to be a common choice.
