Oh no, Ii did get massively rug pulles with a metaverse nft project... That I supposedly had insider team connects with. But as a total noob I absolutely did not know what I am doing, there was lack and miscommunication and entered at it at a massive loss right at opening... I wanted to believe the visionary intentions of that team and figured if just sit tight and wait for them to build it, it will eventually correct and pay out. Life continued, I was busy, I wasn't in touch, next thing I know they are totally mia! So yeah I am still holding a grudge for the "friend" who had "good intentions" to help me game the game and get a financial challenge break rofl (without me actually being well educated on how all this really works myself) and I extra fell for it because I had somewhat of a crush on him... And even though a had a couple of other friend say "you are gonna get rug pulled" and adviced against that buying in.
But oh well you learn through mistakes. And I probably wouldn't get Bitcoin the same now if I hadn't dabbled and gotten unpleasantly badly burned.
One thing I am picking up since I just started to dca for the first time last week on river but have limited weekly amount. But it does make sense to essentially have river become somewhat of a checking account for that cash interest rate and bank transfer fund to it to remove weekly limit
Honestly I don't know. I was just hoping I'd convert my shitcoins from 2018 with some profit than loss. But I don't have enough knowledge. Just reflecting they all went down quite a bit vs. what they were a few plus days ago. I do know they are not outperforming Bitcoin this cycle though. Am just looking for the most strategic time to convert to Bitcoin. I am sure any btc maxis would say, anytime is good.

Well darn it I kissed the window then since I don't know what I am doing. Had a few coins from 2018 that were all dead for a while and then we're getting revived and with some extra profits a week or two ago. Now they are all down kind meh. I'd been thinking I should convert them to Bitcoin and trying to figure out the best timing and for some reason thinking there is more juice here. Maybe there is? I'd rather take a little bigger profits on them... Although does it really matter I'm the long term if I convert them now... Especially since it may keep going down? So now should be good or better than later... Though potentially later could still turn out to be better... Lol
...I think that's what they say about timing the marketing being a losing game.
Probably should have taken some profits. That btc cash was finally above water there for a quick second... Before interview with rogr veer which I haven't watched appears to have nuked things more than positively affect it... Not couching for the second either.

I purposefully chose to wear my hat to this event because she is a conversation starter, she also acts as a protective shield in a few different ways which supports my well being. I had it custom made by my friend millinery Jacqueline Michie.
In a conversation tonight, I started to have questions around what would it take to onboard businesses like Jaqueline's into the lightening network to receive bitcoing payments in her online shop? And could this be a Nostr suite of services/clients that automatically come with that, like her shop being added to the Nostr marketplace and getting displayed to the Nostr.world?
I don't know that I am asking the right questions necessarily but I am getting inspired by a mix of threads from G's? (someone tag him?) It wasn't that long ago when a "social media manager" wasn't a position that existed.
It seems like there could be a need for supporting businesses to become empowered to receive Bitcoin payments while simultaneously also building "our" nostr decentralized supply chain.
I could think of a lot of businesses who may want to be able to serve the Bitcoin community as an added layer to their existing fiat based infrastructure.
Right now, Jacqueline's store seems to be hosted on Instagram. That's where her following is and where she resides online. BUT I find it very auspicious that she has a โก and a hummingbird hat right next to each other. So I think she ay belong with NOSTR.
What would be the least friction way to bring NOSTR to her?
Are there people here who may want to buy some of her hats with BTC and could this be a way to invite her to consider integrating this layer whatever it looks like into her business model?
I am remembering now that I have seen someone mentioning onboarding like a beef farmer on Nostr. So this is already a thing. I guess I'd like to learn that process and see what other later might be coming through my own footstream.
