There are two types of money in the system.

FED creates base money/bank reservers/narrow money(They call it many things). Only commercial banks and the treasury has an account at the FED.

Commercial banks create the money that we use in the real economy every time we take loan. And they are allowed to create more credit than they have in actual bank reserves.

Anyway, you are getting caught up in semantics. Yes, banks are technically corporations. I'm just saying it's not Apples fault the prices of iPhones rises every year, the banking system/fiat money is to blame for that.

I have a friend that thinks it's meaningless to invest in Bitcoin because people would rather use a CBDC. I guess something like that or a Peter Schiff.
