Stafford Masie has 30 Years of IT Industry Experience with an extensive career in the IT and digital innovation sectors, including leadership roles at global companies like Google, WeWork, Novell, and Dimension Data.

He worked as a Global Corporate Technology Strategist at Novell's HQ in Utah, USA for 7 years and is a former Google South Africa Country Manager, leading Google’s initiatives in South Africa, playing a key role in the introduction of new technologies and services across the region, and started Google's Africa presence and founded Google South Africa.

Stafford also developed a revolutionary mobile payment company and solution, the thumbzup Payment Pebble, empowering small and medium-sized businesses in South Africa, and went on to launch it globally.

He is a technology angel investor in several leading pre-seed startups, serves on the board of Discovery Bank, is chairman of the board at Altvest Capital, Chairman of the Wits University & Telkom Innovation Lab, and Guest (MBA) lecturer at GIBS, UJ School of Business, and Henley.
