it’s my birthday, i’m grateful to have celebrated it this past week with friends and family ✨

Had a crazy day yesterday. I broke my arm in the morning, then I got back from the E.R. and I found my dog writhing in pain. I scooped him up and took him to the vet. They told me he had a brain tumor that was causing him severe nerve pain. I made the decision to put him down.

Then I got home and told the kids what happened. They cried and i held them. The whole time i just thanked God for everything that was happening that day. And I felt calm all day.

I was genuinely grateful to god for the broken arm because it could have been much worse. Thankful for the years we had with our dog.

Thankful I was able to comfort our children. It was honestly a beautiful experience.

Life is simply better when you trust God and his plan for you.
