I try to only download apps from F-Droid. It's a FOSS repository for android.

Then I use an own Nextcloud to be free of other cloud providers. I use it for files, RSS aggregation, notes, calendars, tasks, bookmarks, music streaming. Works flawless since years now.

Keine Sorge. Der Einstieg ist erstmal ganz einfach. Und da du Twitter nutzt, wirst du auch nostr nutzen können.

Das brauchst du zwingend:

➨Einen nostr Client für dein Smartphone

Um Spenden in Form von Zaps für deine Beiträge zu erhalten benötigst du noch:

➨Eine Lightning Wallet

Um selber Spenden zu senden, brauchst du:

➨Satoshis (der kleinste auf der Bitcoin Blockchain abbildbare Anteil eines Bitcoins) auf dieser Lightning Wallet. Dazu am Ende mehr.

Ich nutze als nostr App Amethyst (Android) und habe eine Wallet of Satoshi Adresse bei nostr hinterlegt.

Hier hast du zwar nicht die Kontrolle über deine Satoshis, aber du musst auch keinen eigenen Server betreiben um es nutzen zu können. Für den Anfang ist das aber völlig okay. Du kannst später weiter in den Kaninchenbaum einsteigen.

Doch wie kommst du nun an Satoshis, wenn du diese nicht kaufen möchtest?

Ganz einfach: Sammle beim Shoppen Satoshis. Das ist wie Payback sammeln nur mit gutem Geld.

Dafür kannst du Satsback nutzen. Dies ist ein Dienst, der dir fürs Shoppen Satoshis auszahlt - direkt auf dein Lightning Wallet.

Ich weiss, das die ganzen Begriffe Einsteiger überfordern können.

Um es einfacher zu sagen:

Nostr ist wie Twitter auf Steroide und nutzt einen Zahlungsdienst Namens Lightning (sowas wie SEPA nur auf Steroide) um Satoshis (0,00000001 Bitcoin = gesundes Geld) als Anerkennung für einen Beitrag (Bei Nostr heißen diese Notes) zu senden.

- For 1, partly yes and partly no.

When you broadcast something, you're sending a copy of the post to relays you're connected to (ensuring it reaches relays the original author is not connected to => widening a posts availability on different relays).

Boost also does that, except all your followers can see your boosted post => it also widens reach of a post, but among users too.

- For 2, they just show different kinds of posts - one is notes & the other is videos/images, specifically NIP-94 kind
