Use https://nwc.getalby.com to manage your NWC app connections to Damus and others.
Our NWC implementation is open source and we focused on making it also easy to self-host. Currently it works with your LND node.
It is extendible and comes with the UI to manage your app connections.
If you have feedback or feature requests, please reach out and open an issue.

Amethyst with alby's Nostr-wallet-connect also anchieves this. Can damus use it in a self-custodial way?

Seems to work, but it needed @btcpayserver installed and configured on clearnet ssl. As a bonus the prism plugin works perfectly. Amazing work nostr:npub1y24gz5gwucl79vtv4ctwpysl0r5m4xyzu2rgulnr44ks3t5mt92q4nz2ad. Prepare to be zapped with non-custodial sats :)

If you created the transaction with RBF you can replace it with a higher fee. Or u can just wait. Few weeks ago I had a transaction with 1 sat/vB siting on the mempool for almost 3 weeks. But finally it got included in a block :)
