I have a similar one and it might not support virtualization which means docker cannot run and it makes things much more dificult to install since umbrel and others are strongly dependent on docker containers...

Why don't you just whitelist the npubs you want posting there. Other option is nip-05 domain whitelisting. I run 2 relays, one for private notes with my npub only whitelisted, second for my company with nip-05 domain. Using https://github.com/scsibug/nostr-rs-relay

I assume primal.net is doing it using their backend caching layer which aggregates data from all known public relays and offers a more wide view of the numbers and the possibility to notify when something changes. I wonder what this caching strategy means more generally for nostr as the protocol.
