Morning Nostr. Another day another satoshi.

Bitwage is pretty interesting. Its a service that sends your direct deposit to a bitcoin wallet of your choosing. I've been using cash app for 100% bitcoin direct deposit, but having the money land in my cold storage or lightning node would be next level.

The Bitcoin Company is my go to for giftcards

Oshi is pretty interesting for spending in bitcoin while getting sat rewards

Need to go harder tomorrow, got some things done today, but hit some interesting roadblocks.

The War continues tomorrow.

Going all in on Bitcoin was the most important decision of my life. Not for the money it would become, nor for the purpose and meaning that it would deliver to me, but because it was a decision that was truly mine.

The whole world and everyone in it has ideas of who you are suppose to be, and most of the time we conform with that in some way or another. While I did not know it at the time, I knew in my heart of hearts that Bitcoin not only had a chance to save me from a life of mind-numbing pointless work, and nihilistic existence; but more than that, it allowed for me to believe in what I saw for myself, and my own understand of it before what everyone else was telling me. It let me stand up for myself against a world that just wanted to use me and keep me in the suppressed, small role it had relegated to me. Bitcoin allowed for me to decide something else against this system that could not see the light and love that I really am.

This decision came from my own strong conviction within myself that I knew from the deepest levels within me. Even though it seemed crazy, irrational, and like it wouldn’t work to everyone else; just like most major decisions that can change your life for the better, I knew it was what I had to do for myself. There are no other people who can make these kind of decisions for you, and that is why they are them in their lives and you are you in your life. Only you can make the decision for yourself about how your life is going to be, where you are going to put your energy and how you are going to save yourself against a world that wants to exploit you like a machine, and give you worthless paper in exchange for it. You can choose something else now, but that decision is on you alone.

While I cannot promise that you’ll get rich from Bitcoin, or even that it will be a profitable decision with your timing of the markets, you will learn to have a new kind of conviction and faith in yourself which is a kind of wealth in its own right. You will learn that you can decide to take a risk on your own thoughts and decisions, and that is worth something in and of itself.

Just some food for thought going into 2025.

I entered bitcoin from Pomp Explaining the value proposition to me in a 15 second youtube commercial.

I leaned back in my chair and said "Hmm, fixed supply decentralized money at the beginning of its adoption curve while the competing money is garbage.......either I'm retarded or this things goin to the moon, I'll buy some." 3 months later I was flipping IRA's into thing like rocky fighting Ivan Drago.

Seemed like the most logical thing in the world. Was surprised to get so much irrational pushback on what appeared so obvious and right to me. 6 years later, people still have their heads in the sand, and I'm an anarcho capitalist, figuratively dressing up in a mask and cape while running through the internet like its Gotham.

Everything I thought I knew was a lie, so I reorganized my values and beliefs and kept it pushing. Going all in has completely changed the trajectory of my life. Common sense and hard work are both a hell of a drug.

Listr.lol gives you the ability to make a list of npubs, you can view the list as a feed on amethyst and some other clients that supports lists.

Imagine letting it sit in dollars with wells fargo for 100 years.

"Where'd the money go dad?"

Typing todays agenda while working the 14 hour shift at the 2nd job on the weekend.

- Submitted an article regarding thoughts I had about nostr. Recently helped a freak on nostr discover the DVM's on primal, and thought i'd let people know about some tools and techniques to go through on nostr....and why they should probably check it out.

- Yesterday I submitted an application for the chaincode labs coding program, today I was trying to compile bitcoin core but not sure If I have enough space on the laptop for the required dependencies, ran into a problem with the C++ compiler. Will play around and see if I can build the thing by the end of the day and focus on the tests tomorrow

- Will probably switch from a cashu wallet to NWC connection, the cashu stuff has been giving me a harder time than expected, and I'm a bit more used to implementing NWC. At this point I want to get the thing released, the wallet aspect isn't a big part of the app anyway, at least not yet.

- I'm almost done with an online paralegal certificate program, I'll complete a few more exercises today.

So I guess the rest of the day will be coding/studying while taking care of the clients at work.
