But even when I first got into bitcoin, which wasn’t that long ago in early 2021, I remember many #Bitcoin maxis making fun of shitcoins and saying they’ll be driven out of existence anyway because Bitcoin will be able to do all of that functionality, particularly eth

Now Bitcoin is heading in that direction with ordinals and many maxis have lost their fucking minds. The same ones who were saying bitcoin will do it all!!

Just embarrassing really. I personally don’t care for ordinals and think it’s not particularly what Bitcoin, philosophically, was meant for or originally designed for. But Bitcoin is big and the Wild West, who knows what’s to come. It certainly doesn’t care about my opinion or wish-washy self-described maxis.
