Same as the PWA: localForage. I heard you can log in via extensions on the android kiwi browser though.

Not difficult to wrap PWA for iOS. Getting it accepted to the app store is another issue.

The screenshots look incredible. I am slightly jealous. But, I'm working with what I have. Astral, yosup, and snort are all moving along quite well, but have a lot of catching up to do.
