"Chatroom" nip: tag that specifies the creation of a chatroom, perhaps with a list of pubkey moderators (for deleting events in the future). Also would be handy for clients to render and search them properly.
Going to experiment with a "chat room" thread view where every "chat" is just a reply to the root. if you reply to any other note in the thread, it will render as an inlined quote reply like telegram/signal.

I was having beers with some lightning labs folks yesterday and they mentioned that Taro only supported NFT collections not individual NFTs. I had no idea what they were talking about as I still have yet to penetrate the Taro BIPs
yeah it's simpler, I don't have to run my own node, easier to migrate my contacts. Can't be banned by power mad admins (the fediverse is infested with these kinds of people). I had to migrate to a new node a couple times and it was torture.
I have a work in progress activitypub node[1] but the protocol is such a pain in the ass I gave up
yup! huge potential. this is way easier to hack on than activitypub.
ugh this app is already soooo good but I want to make it better before alpha release. Got home, notification and global timeline done. Working on mentions and profile view next.
I mean you could save notes bookmark style like on twitter client side. I'm sure I'll add that to damus at some point...
