#zapathon back on #nostr?

nostr-rs-relay

Tried a couple yesterday but this one is -for me- the ideal combination of:

Easy implementation

Functionality

Techniques I already know

Maintainability of the relay software

Still we need more one-click easy implementations of nostr relay software imho.

nostr:nprofile1qqsglv2qkn5dmmuhee9cy8fywfu2rfp4xd3xy0myqg2gfvmjl9yqqrqppamhxue69uhk2tnwdaejumr0dsq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwdehhxtnnda3kjctvqyv8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnndehhyapwwdhkx6tpds6kvxs0 - please fix the logout bug on nostr.build. I can't easily switch accounts. Logging out doesn't truly logges me out.

I'd like to help you on this issue if you need my help...

#nostr feels COMPLETELY different when you see notes broadcasted to your own relay..

It's no more Schrodinger's notes, but now it's MY notes. Get your relay started and feel the same thing I experience.

#grownostr

Not your keys, not your coins

Not your node, not your rules

Not your relay, not your data

Become sovereign so you don't need to depend on third parties..

Yes! It seems that my relay is live. Now getting all my previous notes and other stuff on my own relay!

Step by step, a little more progress..

Continuing on my having-my-own-relay journey.

Let's see if this note gets published to my own relay

Working on setting up an own relay. nostr:npub1s6z7hmmx2vud66f3utxd70qem8cwtggx0jgc7gh8pqwz2k8cltuqrdwk4c got me inspired to do just that. if you're not having your own relay, you still don't own your data, true??

And I get that it isn't for everyone (yet) therefore (paid) community relays (Like nostr:npub1p6xyr6u5vet33r4x724vxmp9uwfllax5zjdgxeujyrtxt90lp74qvah0rm Noderunners relay) are a good second best. Interesting where this is heading to.

I log out on 1 profile, but it keeps reminding the logged in profile, so I can't login on another profile.

So should the tech improve so it can be easier?

Or should people be more knowlageble about how to running a Lightning Node.

Another question: Will it ever come that "anyone" can run -and manage- their own lightning node, or will we always be dependant on custodians?
