If you want you media to be on both locations make sure and setup mirroring.
It’s a lot of storage, but we’ve been looking at options. Part of it is solid video compression, starting off in the iOS nostr build shack beta…
Some people don’t have great bandwidth so it’s a lot easier for them to see faster loading images.
Also, it helps with storage on our servers for free uploads. Account holders have the option to upload originals.
If you shoot me an example we can look into it.
Thank you for the observation. We just recently moved to fiat based pricing due to BTC volatility and working out some kinks.
For the 3 year discount, 20% only applies to the 2nd and 3rd years, so it would be;
$69+$55+$55 =$179.00
For the sats to $, we use BTCPay and they use Kraken to convert. It seems there was a default 10% addition for price movement…. We just noticed that, thanks, and changed it to 5%, so now the cost should be about $187 for 3 years (.17 cents a day)
If this still seems expensive to people, as a reminder, we have a new $1.50/mo Purist Acct AND offer free uploads up to 50MB.

That’s a tough one, but I’ve found a few sites out there that will import YouTube to your computer, then you can upload to nostr.build.
