Nostr is a trust-based, permission-based system. Their is nothing sovereign about requiring the permission of others to use their client. It may seem for the moment as if it's different, but it’s not.

Nostr is not superior to Twitter/X, it's still a trust-based system with the exact same cyber security flaws, the bot problem is arguably much worse here, the performance/optimization of the software is much worse.
Claiming Nostr is better because you are swapping out trusting Elon to trusting someone else's client is really dumb.
The point is that Bitcoin can provide a cross-referenceable proof-of-real signal within cyberspace, making it more closely bound to physical reality.
