Congrats! My elementary school aged kids each have their own cold card with a small stack, and a view-only wallet setup so they can watch it grow. They'll get the pin/seed phrase in a decade or so. I was proud of my daughter recently when she decided to put half her birthday money in it, knowing she's not getting it out for years.

That's a fantastic spot. Spent a full day there with my family in June. It was pretty busy mid-summer. Looks like you had the place to yourself.

How many times have you gals been late for a high-powered business meeting, only to realize you're not wearing makeup?

I like having a single docker compose file that can define everything needed for tons of self hosted services. Makes update management easy, and made a recent move to a new server easy.

Yes, it only works with Mullvad. It's an addon that you buy through the tailscale website. I think it's $5/month.

I recommend checking out Michael Bazzell's "Extreme Privacy Mobile Devices" guide on creating an anonymous phone using grapheneos. In summary, (1) get service through mint mobile using an alias name, and (2) port your cell number over to a voip carrier (I use jmp.chat) so that you never have to give out the cell number attached to the actual cell service. I don't even know what cell number is attached to my mint mobile service.
