Headed down to Costa Rica for #[0] today.
Looking forward to connecting in person with many of you soon!
I get that for sure. The nice thing about this model is that it’s opt-in every single month. You have to pay the invoice, so it’s very easy to cancel if you aren’t getting value from it.
Yeah, definitely
Good question!
Paging #[4]
At #[0], we think it’s important for relays to have sustainable long-term business models.
Today we’re debuting Kollider’s paid relay— which operates on a monthly subscription model.
You pay to get in, and then each month we’ll send you a DM with an invoice to pay the subscription.
A lot of existing relays require a one-time admission fee, mostly to prevent spam. But this model is likely unsustainable in the long-run.
We like the subscription model because it will allow us to invest in the infrastructure and services needed to continue offering a best-in-class relay over the long term. We’re looking forward to seeing other paid relay models emerge, too.
If you want to give Kollider Relay a try, you can do so here:
A story I’ve seen many times in this ecosystem is that people knew about Nostr, but only once #[0] got actively involved did they really take it seriously.
Jack’s donation and subsequent interest 10x’d (at least) the speed of development of this ecosystem.
Figures like this are super important for building social consensus and thus attracting serious builders. We need more of them.
Who else could bring that kind of positive attention? Who should we Nostr-pill?
The #[0] is really good. I learn a ton every episode.
Just signed up. Cheers!
Testing something. Please ignore.

Sorry, what do you mean?
Wrote about how Nostr gives more optionality to social media users.
Some cool stuff we’ve seen so far, and what we expect to come in the future.
Gonna be traveling soon for #[0] and I’m looking for book recommendations.
Nostr friends, what should I read?
Doing my best to ensure that Nostr isn’t just a Nostr/Bitcoin echo chamber.
So here’s a giant chuck roast I got from my favorite local rancher.
Sorry, #[0], but I did cook this.

#[0] can you point me to the link of the conference agenda? Can’t seem to find it. Thanks!
