So you're saying we should regulate social media like guns
Is this normal for them, or is this them worried?
I still feel special

The are sleepwalking into Gilead because the media is complicit and owned by oligarchs that only care about their wealth and power and the opposition is timid, process obsessed, and fucking spineless and scared as rabbits in a dog run to speak the bare truth..
These people are living fairy tails. In 2016 in a Q&A a Russian ambassador was asked if Were about to go the way of Russia. To paraphrase "Media in Russia have always known it was their job to lie to the people and the people also understood this as well. During the rise of Putin the media started to believe their own lies and so did the people." These are the useful idiots of the US
We never get the dictators we want we get the dictators we deserve. Its not going to be Trump but something far worse
Ken White (aka nostr:npub15qwuf8njm934yju6pcxns9g9gjsmjlu94dkt3w54wpjjgz9zmjds3n3p2z) has a terrific essay on the pure hypocrisy of Substack's managers.
It comes down, in key ways, to this: They are choosing to publish Nazis while not allowing other kinds of (legal if repugnant in some cases) speech. They have a right to decide these things, as they should. It's their choices that are disgusting.
I hope Ken leaves for a service that is less hypocritical and mercenary -- and I promise to subscribe to his paid edition if he does.

Dan probably manages several Nazi, and contributes to a few more just so he can make this content. It his grift and with out it he would be lost
These things can be easily dealt with, it has been before. It only exists because wealthy people want it to
