#Amethyst v0.92.0: Tor and NFC-hosted transient accounts
This version ships with a Tor service enabled by default to access .onion urls and untrusted relays from the Outbox model. It also offers NFC-hosted transient accounts: accounts that log off as soon as the app goes to the background, deleting all traces of the account from the phone.
Write your ncryptsec to an NFC tag and hide it in your clothing. When you need to use Amethyst, tap the tag, insert your password and login. Lock the screen to delete everything. If you are an activist and if your phone is confiscated, they will never find anything on the phone. Not even your public key. Ncryptsec is a NIP-49-based password-encrypted nsec. If you need, you can destroy and dispose the NFC tag.

Bitcoiners copium it's not easy to run a LN node to have self custody and requires to be online 24/7 it will never be an option against monero privacy. And if LN get real privacy and chainanalysis couldn't link IDs to transactions all exchanges would be required to ban it, just like they did with Monero.
I think it still early to remove channels but must be done at some point I think there should be more compatibility with linking the invite of nip29 groups on other clients and outside nostr with a link or something not just the QRCode.
Just made a new profile and could instantly receive zaps with nip60 we could probably have this on amethyst and citrine interoperable.
This is great just tested iris.to and it works similar to this we are getting there.

This new version is based on NDK. I think it's a good idea for web devs to work together on shared core libraries.
Not perfect, but I'll keep working on it! If you preferred the previous Iris version, you should use https://snort.social which is basically it.
There should be an easy why to setup the NWC on Iris good move to integrate the ecash but it's not quite there yet, another thing that I miss from the previous interface is the tending on search tab with the a especific language that can be setup on the preferences.

Using tor to browse all the internet is horrible it's slow and the websites ask for capcha all the time better to use a VPN even my lightning wallet don't open with orbot on 😅.
With this I can still have VPN on and Tor over it.
This is great because we will be able to use VPN all the time and Tor over it.
