a key part of the solution seems to be a global list to find any npub and one relay it uses, maybe using a dht
if we can find any npubs events by knowing one of their relays then replies and boosts should handle the rest of the distribution, we can each then probably significantly reduce the amount of relays we write to, which should reduce platform load

the other great thing is you can use boosts to start new threads from replies, threads then can drift off topic and go forever
hence utility is reduced, given more open use of wireless spectrum then meshnets become quite useful, say we go nukes and some of starlink survives? and it can do some sort of network? moving notes via usb could become a thing in a distopian future, nostr seems like it will replace email

the advantage to paid is the cost creates a barrier for spammers or abuse that might get you banned, long term paid is not a good solution, iris for example already handles spam well on public relays, your sats would be better towards devs like #[7] and others that are really pushing nostr forward
