I spent 2k on a PC to try to mine bitcoin in 2012. By then it was already too late.

Same. I recovered most of my funds on enuts. Lost 2k SATs somehow.
Just put your seed words in enuts and the minibits mint, then hey-presto.
Still not working on minibits though. Plus I lost my zap address.

No. It worked on enuts. I got 10k back - was expecting 12k. No big deal.
When I tried the recovery on minibits it shows zero in my wallet though it has the same seed.
Also as mentioned my personalised address disappeared.
I can see a balance now (not the one I was expecting) but still something wrong.
Updated again this morning. Something odd is happening. 
Try Sync in the developer options. Fixes the balance. Doesn't resurrect the previous address though.
That doesn't fix it. That's just for the last 10 transactions
It just rugged my receive address and balance.
