yes i have found going user to user quite good, you can copy another users follows with some clients now, hopefully soon you will be able to delegate to use anothers follows so any changes they make updates your feed, delegated blocking will also make the broader platform more usable, if you have chance try iris.to as it has a 'degrees of separation' filter that lets you filter out events based on who you follow and they follow and on and on or not
how do you find people to follow? what app are you using?
clients should ignore it
but they should be selling on nostr!
if you share it it resends to your relays, in iris you can also press resend on any post in the side menu
keys are auto generated in most clients
any open ones, we need delegated blocks to handle it, in the mean time copy someones follows to get a feed or adjust iris's degrees of separation filter
not really it understates it as there is not a single point of failure here like instances
nostr is far more reliable than the fedi

the user id is the key on nostr, in iris you can copy a users npub key from their posts side menu or look it up with @ and it pastes into the editor, there is also other apps for search
also writing to 10 to 20 relays is not efficient
