Nostrindia would be nice
I hope Jonathan Bier has paid attention to all the LN drama
Would love to read another book from him about Bitcoin politics
Feeds have always existed and will always do so, except that their forms will vary.
Announcers and story tellers > stone cuttings > paper notices > newspapers and magazines > radio > television > internet
Nostr could play a part in the next evolution of its form in the coming two decades. If not nostr, cryptography definitely will.
I always check the prices of shitcoins against btc instead of fiat
They both look far worse there
😂
Thanks to Nostr and Stacker News I make more payments over Lightning than UPI
Berlin at moment, just because of all the amazing grassroots-level work Einundzwanzig has been doing
Zeus is very well-designed that way. It's easy for users with a basic understanding of LN to really grasp what's happening with their wallets.
I emptied all my accounts on all of them a while back and added my npub in bio. I only lurk on them now.
I still have a few installed and lurk on them but my profiles on it are all empty with just my npub in bio
Ngl I'm more interested in how different people are reacting and behaving in response to this conversation than the vulnerability itself

Another take from Peter Todd on Stacker News:

As always, it's very interesting to observe how different people react to things that happen on Bitcoin and their resulting behaviour (including my own of course).
It's easy to come to concrete conclusions about this since I have so much context about the behaviour and opinions of people in different Bitcoin ingroups and also about how Bitcoin and Lightning works on a basic level.
Lot of useful lessons that can be applied in the wider context of trying to make sense of a contentious and trending conversation in the political landscape.
For eg: learning to identify biases in others and in myself, assigning credibility based on the usefulness of each person's takes and opinions and then forming a credibility hierarchy based on all this.
