Yes, it does if we expect a person to develop responsibility solely through logic and reasoning.

Maybe religion and symbolism can be helpful here.

How about this one:

What would it seem like if it did seem like real capitalism was being tried in an economic system?

Yepp!

Zaps change everything.

And having it as a factor in an algorithmic feed doubly so.

Jack mentions India quite a few times here.

This is essentially how things are here:

As long as conditions are peaceful and stable, you won't see censorship. There will be a lot of people who criticize the incumbents in the Government and get a lot of attention as well. Their accounts won't be taken down.

But when there are protests, riots or other destabilizing events, the Government will resort to bans and censorship. This might be done at a national, state or local level. It mostly happens on a state level.

Thing is, dissent against the Government is to be expected in a country that is democratic, developing and extremely diverse. Not to mention the indirect destabilizing effects that high taxes, inflation, communal conflict and unemployment will always have.

Freedom of speech and expression is a fundamental right ensured by the Indian constitution, but as with any modern democracy nowadays, these rights are never considered absolute. The Government regularly infringes upon these rights.

Personally, if I want to exercise my right to freedom of speech and expression, I don't trust or expect any of the institutions to help me or protect me.

I'll have to forcefully take back my rights through open protocols on the internet.

Nah, I don't watch that kind of content. There are a lot of conference presentations, technical interviews, discussions, product how-to's, etc. which are very valuable.

I'm way past my YouTube phase now. I just watch Bitcoin content most of the time or interviews, podcasts, news, movie and tv show clips.

So I don't know who the good ones are now.

A Gif and a one line answer like this isn't enough for me to work with.

If you want to help me understand where you're coming from, both of you will have to elaborate.

I'm open to hearing criticism of my ideas.

Liberty through democracy

Ah, got it. I thought he meant that the 'For you' page algo itself could be changed, which is why I was confused
