Gravity isn’t affected by perception, separation of money and beliefs is also important if your goal is neutral money.

Agree I would love this idea as an employee, but locked up stock is free to print for the company and provides some kind of “lock up” and reduced sell side pressure too maybe?
Sometimes I wonder how long Coinbase can last, especially if/when altcoin gambling distractions are more regulated.
BNYM, JPMC etc will be gifted the Coinbase client base and custodial stack. If I indulge the conspiracy theorist - maybe that was the plan all along.
