Totally understand your perspective, but, on the other hand, we only send these messages once per profile, and we've helped hundreds of nostr users to realize that either A) their lightning address was broken or B) they haven't set up a lightning address.... overall, for every one person who complains about our messages, we get ten people who say "thanks, I didn't know it was broken!"
