I just want to add one small fact I learned from Andrew Huberman (neurologist podcaster on youtube). Without CO2 the body cannot access all of the oxygen bound to the blood.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypocapnia
CO2 is required to unlock the oxygen caught in the haemoglobin in cells.

Today is going to be an even better day.
Sometimes the actions you take today don't take effect until tomorrow.
Number one cause of waking up is that you ate at that time yesterday, or somewhere around 3 hours after that time.
HD keychains? XPUBS?
I saw the security detail of a political candidate the other day. I didn't recognise it at the time, but these guys had the creepy air of undercover cops or gangster enforcers, and I noticed that.
It made me realize that any time I hear about politicians and Bitcoin I should be wary.
Firstly, never trust politicians.
Secondly, enemies of the Bitcoin candidate will target obvious bitcoiners.
Thirdly, stay humble and stack sats.
Politics is anathema to freedom and truth. No matter they wave the orange flag it's a flag.
PSA: If you permanently remove ALL carbon from the air you'd end up killing all trees on earth, and consequently most life on earth—including us.

Without CO2 blood cells can't release stored oxygen. Much of hyperventilation symptoms are from this, it's called hypocapnia.

I want a native GUI client, no more fucking electron/webviews pls pls pls
I had some midwit try to say, yeah, someone on nostr, obv not reading their trash anymore, talk about "what a useful tool" was the mobile phone.
I just spent half an hour trying to update the apps on my phone that is mainly working as a modem just now. It didn't want to do the update on a mobile connection, a more or less unlimited one from vodafone.
So I yank the sim, put it in the other phone, turn on the hotspot, and lo and behold instantly all the updates start happening.
Convenient, useful. No, it just cost me a good half hour of my time for zero reason, gave me zero feedback why it was not working, and I fixed it by using my brain, which is a hell of a lot more useful tool than this fuckin piece of shit android garbage.
lol, this was what was current when I was studying ASP/VBscript in 2003
This was the first PC I used
He got to inner circle and learned their plans, and the book was a narrative telling it in a different form that would not be dismissed immediately.
Huxley also was inner circle and was outing them in his work too.
Many people have said that the regime of the last 100 years has basically followed both scripts depending on the character of the people they are trying to subjugate. George Orwell's version is the one they use on those who refuse to submit to arbitrary authority. The rest are vulnerable to being drugged into robothood.
I will not hesitate to install it when you do that. I'm gonna watch the repo.
I know flutter is cool and all, just drives me nuts installing the tooling. This terrible dev ux is partly why I love Go so much.
Maybe give nostr:npub1gp4xzpmluelsakjtayc4wtzj97fhj5kakqjvsannu00xkdlf4x8s0xdqyq a try. It's in flutter which can build a linux or windows native app.
I haven't still automated the builds for linux, but if you can get the source and flutter build linux maybe will work.
Happy to help and discuss PRs to the code.
Ugh. There is a few things that make my nerves grate more than anything else, and one of them is dealing with the endlessly complicated process of installing tooling for certain languages and platforms.
I hate rust, but I gotta hand it to them, rustup is smooth as butter. Setting up go is only a tiny bit more work, mainly setting up the correct paths and environment variables.
But android studio and SDK, is a total dogs breakfast. Python, forget it. Unsurprisingly, android sdk manager uses python.
I spent a full hour trying to get the android sdk working so I could build the linux version but I'm not wasting any more of my time. I need to anyway stop spending so much time looking at nostr and more time building things. If the browser goes molasses mode on me again, GOOD.
As a bitcoin/ln/nostr dev I find it shocking how little my peers are working to make their own experience better, I see you are doing a lot with yana, and I'll install it when all I have to do is change an appimage permissions or install a package with snap. Until then, better I not mess around any further, it's driving me completely barmy.
I had a quite vivid experience of the awareness of the magnetic fields one night in my underground hideaway under the central park of Sofia... In this case I happened to find a little bag of green stuff inside an empty cigarette packet in my daily street searches and when I smoked it and laid down on my scavenged bed in a room with a 25000W transformer humming away to run the underground tunnel's HID lights, something that had been quite peripheral before, suddenly I could feel the EMF tickling my muscles all over my body.
It was the most vivid experience, and not just because of the sound, I had been dead sober for months prior to this except the occasional beer or found bottle of spirits, I'd got used to mostly sleeping on cardboard in underground tunnels but at this time it was quite comfortable.
A nutter later on set fire to all the rubbish in the chamber around nearby the transformer/power room and the Sofia council locked up the whole area, it used to have a giant ventilation system, thus the big transformer... I had to revert to less secure sleeping arrangements and fortunately a friend came through with some help renting me an airbnb while I hunted for a job, which came through in a couple of weeks after that.
Google pays the best systems programming experts to make Go, and then they run off and do all this java/kotlin/flutter garbage, build a giant ball of mud called "chrome" and do nothing to support the development of DESKTOP APPS, either.
Shouldn't be surprising therefore that the web is a dumpster fire, with this kind of "help" making it.

Just spent the last 20 min in the water watching this emerge.
This will be a daily ritual for sure. I feel like a lot of Zang just left my body.
Today will be a very good day.
Don't forget.

We'll build it, one piece at a time.
I'm working on adding nostr/bitcoin keys to Git and Gitea and plugging a storage back end into a new distributed data storage protocol. Maybe in a couple of weeks we will be starting to be able to do the same thing for Github that we are currently doing for chat/forums.
I keep getting electron/chrome based apps flipping into this ultra mollasses slow input/output, and ya know what, it doesn't make me want to fix it. It makes me want to stop using this toxic software.
The sooner I can have a nostr app that runs on QT, GTK, or even Win32 native GUI, the better.
This bloated, security hole ridden garbage needs to stop being at the centre of our stack, people.
If this is new to you, imagine living with this awareness for nearly 20 years. Everyone thinks getting rid of phones is a now thing. I haven't wanted my phone for 15 years. It really has become an unwanted chain around my neck.
