Not sure what 1808 is, but whatever zapstream uses for chat could be used on tracks I think.
1808 is the kind used by #[1] for their audio tracks, Amethyst and Coracle (maybe even more) are now running them.

I could do a screencap of how the input and output of such apps are functioning at the moment with "acceleration on" and this browser right here is only behaving itself because I disabled acceleration. It's obviously still accelerated, but whatever the "acceleration" setting is, on my current Pop OS 22 installation it seems like the input system is clocked at like 10Hz and has a latency of about 3 seconds, maybe 5.
I just can't be fucked, honestly. The only thing that a browser has in its favour is a nice rich text edit widget. The rest is so complicated it's insane.
I'm not having any substantial problems with Intellij, my main work app, and zero problems with any GTK or QT apps, just everything based on Electron right now, with acceleration on, is unusable.
And like my android devices, I already hated it, so it becoming unusable to me right now is just helping me focus on my little part of ending its monopoly on my pixels.
And yes, I've spent about half of the last 4 days trying to figure out wtf is going on but I really don't care. Make native GUI apps, ok, just one of you out there, make a Qt or GTK app. You know, like Electron and 'bitcoin-qt'. Like the old days before Google warped all your minds.

12 years ago there used to be this website thesixtyone.com (there are still screenshots on google) which was a great place to discover new (mostly indie) music. It was an awesome and fun experience around music.
They had gamification where they had daily tasks to listen and like/rank music. Badges were awarded based on your activity.
You could discover people by the music they like and get daily recommendations for new songs based on your followers.
I loved it.
