Thanks to those who watched my stream! I love seeing how things are done and wanted to share with you how I do a lot of my work. This is a printmaking technique called relief, where the negative space is carved away to essentially make a stamp. I have a long way to go, but so far so good!
I hope to stream my carving process again, and I’ll post the final prints for you to see as well.

I haven’t found much time to make new things lately, but I have been finding a lot of old things while cleaning up my work space.
This weird little print found me this week when it fell out of an old sketchbook.

Recycling old prints into collages is one of my favorite activities.

The joy I get from organizing the chaos and turning what may have been garbage into something new brings me the most joy.
I often go through my scraps and try to thin them out, but even the smallest pieces are sometimes exactly what I need.
