BREAKING:

Federal Reserve establishes new emergency measures regarding banking policies at regional and local banks to stabilize banking system to prevent crisis.

Under terms of the new policy, account holders, including depositors, of regional and local banks will be prohibited from withdrawing sums of cash in excess of $1000 USD per 30 day period. Banking institutions will be supported by the Federal Reserve to onboard to new FedPay cards, a program in concert with major merchant and payment providers (Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Amex).

Restrictions will be enacted to prevent transferring funds between institutions in amounts greater than $25000 USD per 30 day period. Requests for transfers in excess of the allotment will be frozen for internal review.

Mary Botzzapp is a publish only. Writes a note once an hour to the relays it's connected to.

Polly Botzzapp is more involved. It connects to relays with subscription and listens for direct messages, as well as any zaps on posts that it is explicitly monitoring. Direct messages are how it lets you create and manage polls and it replies in mind. When polls are started it publishes them, and same for when a poll is expired or ended.

Don’t know how to do that

Sounds like a good idea for a bot. Can automate this and track to avoid the manual overhead. Main caveat is the bot can only see zaps for relays it listens to.

Lets say hypothetically I wanted to host a raffle, where the amount of sats zapped is the amount of tickets you get, and each ticket has a number and at the end a random number is drawn. What would be the best way to assign the numbers and keep track of it? Is there a website where I can put in “person a: 50 tickets” and it assigns them tickets?

The memory and new battery came for my laptop today! HP Pavilion dv6-3140us now upgraded to have 8 GB of memory! Setting up VS Code and some extensions now.

Made my own implementation

In an effort to help with privacy I made it so when I get zapped instead of putting the real invoice in the zap event it'll generate a fake one. This way people won't see which node I was paid to and won't have a historical record of things like route hints, etc.

I haven't tried it or chatgpt. They look like fun toys for people that would otherwise be spending that time watching TikTok
