I like the new relay manager in Damus.

But we need to name these NIPS. Not user friendly to show numbers. Only NostrNerds will get it

These are zap-verizements.

They basically span your lightning wallet, send a note about whatever they want, but send you money in return.

You should be able to see the notes in wallet of Satoshi or other wallets. Using telegram may not show the corresponding note.

I need to stop arguing with argumentative people.

It’s fucking draining.

I keep remembering Satoshi’s comment - if you don’t get it or don’t believe me, I don’t have time to explain it.

Just move on and add value for those who are accepting and willing to reciprocate.

I need advice for relays… I’m not using nostr correctly methinks

Most people use bad passwords and have not done a digital security audit. Cyber attacks are rising as people get rekt. I’ve had a few friends get thousands of dollars drained from their accounts as a result of sloppy security. The problem is that we trust our security to companies thereby turning them into honey pots for hackers. For example, credit card numbers should have NEVER been entered online. They were never designed for that. But without a native digital currency, we’ve defaulted to that terrible practice. Same with bitcoin seeds.. it is a private number that is entirely yours. If it gets in the wrong hands your money is gone!

This needs to change. We need to empower everyone to take full responsibility for their digital property. If your credit card gets stolen, it’s often not your fault because a third party is hacked your stuff is stolen.

But today, with bitcoin, no third party can get hacked and unintentionally steal your money, unless you’re still using an intermediary. It’s 💯 on you to keep yourself safe in the digital world. If you’re using safe security practices then your bitcoin is safe unless they physically come into your home and steal from you. No one is safe once that happens. Physical security trumps all. Nothing is safe from a physical attack.

We need people to be sovereign, smart, educated and to stop using lazy passwords and keeping their most secret data with third parties!
