Good rule of thumb for life is never give money to anyone and especially don’t give money to anyone promising to make you rich.
I’d you’re doing zaps of that size I can imagine you’d be doing a lot of rebalancing. Also we should become friends ❤️😘😂

It’s a rock
Detailed chart showing where the US is in terms of monetary debasement vs Rome. #btc #bitcoin
Voting with your feet only works if there is somewhere better to walk. At some point you must stand and fight for your principles or be forever on the move.
Even that might be low tbh. Hard to say how much is in cold storage vs gone forever but there’s a lot of stories of someone losing 1k+ BTC from the early days.
I guess moving forward what ultimately matters is how much of the supply is liquid and that’s a very small number compared to total supply.
Yes the number doesn’t say zero but everyone that’s not a major asset owner lost in real purchasing power terms.
I’m well aware of the faults of the system which is why I’m a bitcoiner and I choose to opt out of it.
Don’t be mad at the people being impacted by it, the American people aren’t benefiting from it, they’re just being hurt less than the rest of the world when the printer gets turned on. But wether you’re losing 5% or 50% per year you’re still getting stolen from.
That only works if there are entities willing to accept our paper as payment. Hence who is the actual idiot in that situation? The country printing, or the country taking debt as payment and giving real goods for them?
The majority of Americans didn’t get a bailout. The crooks on wall street did. Countless people in the US lost their jobs and homes post 2008.
By your logic the rest of the world should have just made better money to not be vulnerable to the US dollars debasement yet here we are with the entire world relying on our system so who is the actual retard in that situation?
That couldn’t be farther from the truth. The vast majority of people in the US distrust their institutions. I have conversations on a daily basis with people about how dissatisfied they are with our government.
Citizens cannot be held accountable for a rogue government.
