We, the "educated", have spent decades watching the degradation of our society impassively!
Children selling peanuts at traffic lights at 8pm!
The downtown area is full of people selling pieces of second-hand clothing that were donated from the first world and that are in turn sold to these afflicted people so that they can survive!
In the provinces, let's not even talk about it! People carrying furniture and so on on their heads to earn 20 cents! And many other glaring situations, before our eyes, but we never did anything about it!
Seeing others (many others) suffer didn't affect us, but now that it disrupts our routine, we already have guesses about how they should express themselves!
Let's just keep quiet and watch as we always have, nothing more! No hypocrisy!
Chatham House's Interference in the Mozambican Elections
These are the links to the Chatham House pages, which do not need to wait for the Constitutional Council that they demand that we, the people, wait for.
Chatham House is the Royal Institute for International Affairs of the United Kingdom, known worldwide for its research and discussion on global issues.
They have already "congratulated" Daniel Chapo for a supposed victory and invited him to speak in London between December 4 and 6, 2024.
We need to teach Chatham House to respect the sovereignty of an entire people.

The SADC Troika chair representative Mahmoud Thabit of Tanzania refers to Daniel_Chapo of Mozambique as ‘President elect’ of Botswana- The confusion runs deep! Daniel Chapo is now Botswana’s president elect!
So if SADC has already recognised Daniel Chapo, what then is the point of the extra ordinary summit! To foist their position on the opposition. It is clear that SADC_News is a lame duck institution existing to merely entrench liberation political party’s interests. This reinforces what Julius_S_Malema once said
‘There is no such thing called SADC, that’s just a bunch of old men protecting each other. It’s a gentlemen’s club”.

Why are the press or the media the fourth power? Because information is power. Because the truth, which is the exposition of facts, frees humanity.
Clearly, these 2024 elections should be invalidated. However, the pressure that the direct competitors put on, as is the case of the persistence of the VM7 / Poderos team together with the CC, CNE and courts, must be increased by the press, reading the technical pieces of the parties, confrontations and producing their conclusions. The journalistic language offers a greater permeability of the facts, compared to the petitions of the parties, which, by the imperative of the very environment of law, are not only long, but coated with almost unreachable terms. Journalism, on the other hand, because the media are periodic, gives out news in parts, hence shorter texts and with accessible language.
One of the biggest losers in these 2024 elections are the journalists, who couldn't help but remain immaculate to the subversion of Frelimo... what a pity... What a shame to see what is going on in other countries through our media, and not our own. If we have to import everything from cars to cotton swabs, music to football, extensions to garlic, surely we’re not supposed to import news. What a shame that it is the foreign press who reports on our news, doing investigative journalism and telling us more than 296,000 Zimbabweans voted in Mozambique… and there are still those who believe that FRELIMO will govern?
