“The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.” #bitcoin and collaborate

if you were to try to explain a nostr app to someone would you say “…and you can zap/tip/send sats to people” or “… and you can zap/tip/send bitcoin to people?”

bip177

trad fi: “we’re now downgrading the old money”

… simultaneously …

nostr:npub1cxyr9w0dwkjxs7svmwjlg4veqp9uzw0qvwux0c0554lqzw5ut48qrahz6x: “we’re now starting this year’s hackathon to upgrade the new money”

wallets are competing against each other to provide the simplest user experience. the customers will choose winners… with many of those customers being new it would help to put yourself in their shoes on what they would view as easiest to grok

exactly! but along the transition when the number is said/shown, the customer will ask/wonder “bitcoin or local currency” when pondering the amount

which is why that number should be called bitcoin

i think you have to keep the “bitcoin” brand name

might need to purple pill their lightning implementation (speed) to get Steak ‘n Shake on nostr: in front of their target customers

add a decimal for 2.1 quadrillion

yea, the ₿ and the number is what is easiest for all from bots to developers to people

the ₿ is already a globally accepted unicode character. there is no reason to try and reinvent the brand for a sats character

“stay free, stack ₿”

what are the differences you are thinking about?

maybe we’ll get crucified

maybe we bootstrap an era of increased freedom for all

bitcoiners: make the future better for those that come after you

a stamp of approval from one of humanity’s most currently underrated designers
