The Midwest is terribly unkind to vehicles. This was a perfectly functional fuel pump on a GM pickup truck however it developed a pinhole fuel leak due to corrosion where the pressure (output) side of the fuel line connects....it's almost like these were engineered to collect moisture and road salt. Anyhow, pump was replaced and generously coated with a rust inhibitor product called "fluid film" that I have used for years especially on equipment like snow plows. Just be aware it does not fully dry so if you ever have to come in contact with it, you will be wearing it. But it does what it's supposed to..

My Tahoe was starting to develop rust on the inside of the door panels when I lived in Michigan before moving to Central Oregon in 2003. Here they use cinders on the roads instead of salt and the rust completely stopped advancing. That rig is still running today!
I checked out your website. Good looking stuff! Followed. #GrowNostr
I can't seem to get the Iris app set up on my Android. It asks for my name or has a link for Private Key Access. I've tried all versions of my user name that I set up and tried the Private Key Access but nothing responds. Has anyone else had the same issue? #GrowNostr
Nice, Josh! I haven't made any floating shelves yet but I have a friend that offered me a whole tree worth of walnut slabs to work with this summer!

milled 4” thick slabs out of old growth juniper for benches. Now I’ve been turning the benches into other things. Custom juniper and steel spice rack! #grownostr #woodworking #construction
