yes. to the tech literate there are ways of bypassing internet restrictions. however, this bill will create new criminal offenses incl. "false communication offense". who decides what's "false"?

Scary stuff 👀👀 time to jump over to GrapheneOS & stack VPN months for plebs in the UK...
Can the UK really implement this though? What's stopping them running a VPN or Tor and bypass the UKs restrictions? And for encrypted message apps being withdrawn from UKs playstore, can't they just download an APK for elsewhere? Obviously iPhone users got no chance..

Don't think that's the issue, F-Droids latest version is 3.167.25, the version that's installed is 3.172.4 it seems like there was a newer version on F-Droid but it's been rolled back?
Does anyone know what's going on with Standard Notes?
I'v been updating with Obtainium (Via the F-Droid link) and it's saying I have an update available but the update is an older version.
After looking I've noticed this note on the F-Droid page... as far as I am aware it's always had paywall features and there's still source code on GitHub.
Any ideas?
