Stormlight is such a good series! I just finished my re-listen of Rhythm of War. So good. Brandon is awesome. Have you read The Emperor’s Soul? It’s a great one too. It’s shorter. He won the Hugo for that one.

Haven’t finished Andor yet. Heard the pacing is slow through the season. Hopefully worth it. So many good things to watch, read, and listen to, it’s hard to keep up!
Mandolorian went the way of a grizzled/broken "old" loner and paired him with a young (okay not so young) kid to care for. Mando can't be the lonely loner anymore. The contrast makes it fun.
The Book of Boba Fett however has two leads that are pretty much the same (both bounty hunters, few words, serious, etc.), and I think that's why Mando on the whole is much more enjoyable to watch.
Neither show is perfect, but it is nice to get #starwars content so can't complain!
Side note: Saw Baby Yoda with Mando at Disneyland, and it made for a pretty awesome day.

No need to charge a physical book, just pick it up, and it works each time. Put a book on the shelf or nightstand, and seeing it passing can bring back fond memories of the story. The only problem with physical books is that when they are loaded in boxes for moving, they feel heavier than a cast iron anvil.

Kickstarter can be a fun way to create excitement around a book launch. A number of authors I know have had great success with it. Best of luck with your writing!
Indie publishing is great for speed and control. Either way, the marketing for a new author is going to be largely up to the author. If Kickstarter is your jam, many have used it to help with the upfront costs of indie publishing.
This was fun. Really Enjoyed reading Tress of the Emerald Sea. Very imaginative world building.
