Fwiw I have the *opposite* sentiment and have automatically DCA’d bitcoin twice per hour every fucking day of the year.

I’m not “rotating out of Bitcoin” [selling] like Mechanic. I am buying. What the fuck would I “rotate” into?

I save in bitcoin for my family with all the fiat I can earn, and earn bitcoin directly by getting paid in sats whenever I can.

I USE Bitcoin as MONEY every single day.

I use it as a store value, a medium of exchange, and my unit of account.

I send and receive on-chain transactions. I also use lightning every single day on Nostr, spend bitcoin at physical merchants whenever I have the opportunity, and buy bitcoin art and bitcoin products online using bitcoin. Whenever I spend bitcoin, I buy more.

Do whatever you want. Run whatever node implementation you want. I do not care what you do.

But realize that if you listen to defeatists like Mechanic, you will become a defeatist yourself.

Rage quit season is nigh.

Rage quitters end up with less bitcoin.

This is very sad to see. This dude is out there talking about Bitcoin all day and getting paid to do so, and on the other side he's slowly leaving the boat.

I just watched a podcast with Simon Dixon. He mentioned you and your company. After listening to him, I just hope you're not doing all this only to end up being absorbed by the government or BlackRock.

Even if we survive this attack by Core30, this situation where I personally have to save Bitcoin every few years needs to stop. Bitcoin cannot survive if it's dependent on one man. Others need to step up more.

I have experienced a similar feeling in the past, as if I were carrying a significant weight all by myself. The best thing to do is to take a step back. You'll find that there are other capable individuals who will offer their support. Every Bitcoin Knots node runner is behind you man.
